Internet Explorer is dead. Now, Switch to Microsoft Edge

On February 14 2023, Microsoft finally permanently disabled out-of-support Internet Explorer 11 for the older version Windows 10 Operating System.

A Date with Death

Microsoft has chosen love day for its most loved Internet Browser to an end. From 14-February 2023 Microsoft permanently disabled out-of-support for Internet Explorer, its older generations of Windows Operating System. This Out-of-support will not be disabled through Windows updates but this time the tech giant played well through Microsoft Edge Browser Update that will force the users to upgrade or switch to newer Browsers.

What will be the impact?

The devices which are using Internet Explorer will automatically be redirected to the update page for Microsoft Edge. This will automatically update the Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge.

For corporates who are dependent on IE 11 or other versions of Internet Explorer. They need to take to upgrade their Technologies, There will be no impact on the corporates how already transitioned from IE 11 to Microsoft Edge.

Its 25+ years of love with IE

Starting in 1995, it was first released with an add-on package for Windows 95 and Also with Windows NT. Later versions were available for free downloads or in-service packs and also included in the OEM version of Microsoft Equipped devices.   • In the year 2015, Microsoft edge ported to Windows 10, Xbox One and other devices. It was the first Microsoft’s  Google’s Chromium open-source-based project. Which is now replacing the legendary browser IE.
